With the winter thawing, the first crocuses, daffodils and magnolias of spring are beginning to open up and I felt that Tom & Gina’s beautiful wedding was the perfect remedy for a long winter and to get in the mood for sunnier days. I’ve been meaning to blog this dreamy celebration for the longest time!
I see all types of love and relationship dynamic doing my job - it's a true privilege. Tom & Gina's love was the sweetest & purest thing & such a blessing to capture with my camera. It wasn't long into their engagement shoot at Porthtowan beach that I knew they were those rare kinds of people who are a sparkling ray of sunshine and being around them is a breath of fresh air.
Playful, always smiling & full of laughter & beans - their engagement shoot was up their among my top special favourites. I was so excited to capture their wedding in Bath, Somerset in Gina's home village of Monkton Combe where they erected a great sailcloth marquee nestled amongst the rolling hills.
The weather was amazing. When it comes to August, I'm always a little sceptical these days and have put away my childhood image of blazing hot summer days and accepted that we live in Britain; summer just means slightly warmer rain. But the sun shone down on these two cuties and it shone hard for them. Everything about their day was so enchanting & filled with an abundance of joy, love and laughter. It was everything a wedding should be and more. I loved all of their little details - from Gina's gorgeous tulle & lace gown to Tom's adorable dotty bow tie. Oh - and did I mention that Gina's dogs are the CUTEST BOYS EVER. Keep reading for adorable Pupper pictures.
I edited their images to best celebrate the bright, bold & playful colours. the sunny weather, mirror their style and personalities and most of all to compliment and capture the mood of the day.
